Now that my art class is over, I want to continue painting. I have decided to take a break from still life and do a FunkyCobra Watercolor Collection I, which will consist of 12 5x7 paintings of my two friends Serge (LordFunkyFist http://lordfunkyfist.deviantart.com/ and James). I put up two I have completed, one drawn by James (Cobra) and one drawn by Funky. I have another ready to be painted, but I'm out of yellow and magenta paint. I've been taking pictures for background references and drawing other ideas. This is all gearing up to a larger 14x17 painting. I'm also saving up some money for a new lens for my xsi...

This past Saturday I was at a sweet 16 party, taking pictures. A friend of the family had asked me weeks in advance if I could take pictures. I showed up with a band new tripod (a cheap tripod at RadioShack which is pretty good) and walked into the wrong party which was going on next door. After everyone ate I began taking pictures of the birthday girl with her family and friends, then when she cut the cake.
